How to burn an ISO image to optical disc 1. A single layer Blu-Ray disc holds 25GB and dual-layer 50GB. Tip: A single blank CD will hold a at most 700MB (Megabytes), a single-layer DVD holds 4.7GB (Gigabytes) and a dual-layer DVD holds 8.5GB. This guide is split into two sections: section one is for Windows 7 & 8 and section two is for Windows XP, 2000, Vista and/or for those of you having trouble with section one.
There seems to be a lot of confusion about this process but it’s pretty straight-forward now-days for Windows 7 and 8, but was difficult in the past in older versions of Windows.
